چکیده

The seemingly paradoxical increase of a species' means density in response to greater mortality is an interesting research topic recent times, and such type counterintuitive known as the hydra effect. Identifying predicting consequences increased crucial for conservation biology population management. existence effect Gause-type models feature mathematical ecology. However, still not investigated predator-dependent functional responses. present paper addresses presence either prey predator species two-species unstructured with logistic growth density-independent death rate. Our results show that positive density-dependence predators (grouping behavior or cooperation) trophic functions shows species, whereas negative (interference) species. Moreover, former case, always exhibits at stable state, whether latter state when has self-effects equilibrium. In our considered models, prey's suggest intraspecific competition rate coefficient would be sufficiently small so positively related its per capita case cyclic dynamics, typical unstable systems saturating

Discretization of a fractional order ratio-dependent functional response predator-prey model, bifurcation and chaos

This paper deals with a ratio-dependent functional response predator-prey model with a fractional order derivative. The ratio-dependent models are very interesting, since they expose neither the paradox of enrichment nor the biological control paradox. We study the local stability of equilibria of the original system and its discretized counterpart. We show that the discretized system, which is...

Threshold harvesting policy and delayed ratio-dependent functional response predator-prey model

This paper deals with a delayed ratio-dependent functional response predator-prey model with a threshold harvesting policy. We study the equilibria of the system before and after the threshold. We show that the threshold harvesting can improve the undesirable behavior such as nonexistence of interior equilibria. The global analysis of the model as well as boundedness and permanence properties a...

A predator-prey model with ratio-dependent functional response and Strong Allee effect on prey

A ratio-dependent predator-prey model with strong Allee effect on prey is analyzed by making a parametric analysis of stability properties of dynamics on the system in which the functional response is a function of the ratio of prey to predator. It is shown that incorporating of Allee effect on prey equation significantly modifies the dynamics of the original system, as the modified model invol...

the effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...
